Tales From the Riverbank - Sunday 28th June 2.00pm
This walk looks at how of the River Lea has shaped the geography and history of the town. It was a frontier, part of Hertford Castle’s defences, and played an important role in the industrial heritage of the town.
You may be surprised to learn it is also one of the world’s rarest habitats.
Walk starts at the 'Lion Door' Hertford Castle at 2pm on Sunday 28th June 2025.
